Sale on the Grounds is usually held on the first full weekend in May on the grounds of the Nicholson House, 13314 Detroit Avenue, this year due to COVID concerns we have pushed the sale to June. You’ll find many unique items to select from—why not do your Mother’s Day shopping here? Choose among one-of-a-kind antiques & collectibles; items such as vintage gloves, purses, linens; jewelry; art work & frames; and decorative items. In the 20’ x 70’ tent on the grounds are all manner of cookware, kitchen appliances & gadgets; dishes & glassware; serving pieces & utensils as well as small pieces of furniture; craft items; luggage; toys & games; sporting goods; lawn & garden; tools & electronics.

All sales at the sale benefit the Lakewood Historical Society in our work to fulfill our mission.

Cancelled for this year but with an extra sale day added on Thursday. Normally the kickoff event for the sale is our Friday night Preview Party, hors d'oeuvres and drinks make for a casual shopping environment where friends gather and have fun supporting the Society while getting the opportunity to purchase the best treasures before the general public on Saturday. Sunday sees one last chance to find that special something with everything (excluding the antique room) slashed to half price.
